How the map works

The map covers Charleston County, North Charleston, Summerville and Daniel Island. It's checked against local news every month, and places we can't confirm are kept off the map until we can. Every listing shows when it was last checked.

Spot a closed place or a mistake? Every listing has a "Tell us" button — corrections go straight into the next update.
